How to invite people to your Party business

Who do you think you should invite to your Avon party business and how would you organise your list

This isn’t as easy as it sounds.

Sending out your party invites can be found on another blog I wrote earlier, but actually listing the people you would like to invite is right here in this blog.

I have been organising Parties for many years and I believe the success in any party is in the Planning before hand.

So, print out your Who Do I Invite sheet and begin writing down some names.

Always invite twice as many as you would like to attend and always make sure that the people you invite know to ask their friends too.

Where to host your party

Depending on where you are having your party should dictate as to how many invites you should send out.  If your 1st party is in your home or a customers home I would recommend around 6-10 people ( this means you need to actually invite around 20 people).  If it is in a church hall or part of an event you should get as many invites out as you physically can.

  1. All friends family and customers
  2. The local shop windows
  3. The local newspapers
  4. Your local radio station
  5. Your social Media profiles
  6. Local Mother and Toddler groups
  7. School News Letters

The above list can be used for the BIGGER venues and larger parties.  You can pick and choose from the list to make your party as private or as public as you want it.

Here are my 7 Top Tips for your Skin Care party
  1. Make sure your display is colour coordinated and that the creams are easy to touch feel and use.
  2. Once your creams are open and ready to use, ask your guests to use the spatula’s provided for cleanliness purposes and let them smell touch and feel your products on display.
  3. Flag all the brochures on the pages that have your displayed creams for them to purchase and make sure you know a little about the products!  That’s easy to do as you can simply read the Avon brochure and google the 4 products within the age range for further information.
  4. If you are a little more confident you could do a mini facial with one of your guests by applying the cleanser, eye cream and day cream (again, you can find tutorials on this on YouTube).
  5. Remember the TOP TIP for ALL Avon Parties is to Keep It Simple.
  6. No frills, no expense, no gimmicks, with a little creative party planning and your guests having a cuppa, a biscuit & talking about the Fantastic Avon products you have to offer.

Sending Out your Party Invitations

When giving out your invites don’t be afraid to hand out twice as many as you would want to attend.  People have very busy lives (especially women) and there will be some that said “Yes” but life got in the way and they couldn’t come.  With your Tea Party Invitations always make sure the guests know they can bring as many of their friends and family as they would like to come along with them.  make sure they know they don’t need to bring their cash or cheque books either, the Avon Products ordered on the day are all “Cash On Delivery”, this is another great selling tool to get your ladies over to your house for a tea party!

Give out the invites way in advance of your Tea Party date.  Give the guests plenty of time to pop the date in their diary and organise friends to come with them and child care for the children.

Top Tips on Writing out your Avon Tea Party Invitations:

  1. Ensure the time is within school hours (mum’s love to have “Me Time” and your Tea Party is perfect for them
  2. Give plenty of time to invite their friends too
  3. Send the invitations 1 month in advance
  4. Collect as many Emails as possible ( e-Invites are a great way to invite more people in one go)
  5. Put the Tea Party Date, Place and Time on your social Media profiles (Face Book & Twitter etc….)
  6. Always make sure the full address with post code is on the invite (People need to be able to find you)
  7. Follow up is KEY to having guests attend your party, so call the guests at least a couple of times once the invitations are sent out.  And most definitely the day before the party!
