Avon Products Inc has acquired the Liz Earle Beauty Company Ltd which is a fast-growing, privately-owned brand of naturally active skin care products that are sold mainly in the UK. Selling botanical-based products, primarily through direct-to-consumer channels, the brand perfectly complements Avon's core direct selling business and leadership position in anti-aging skin care. It also represents a long-term opportunity to develop a stand-alone Liz Earle direct-selling Avon Representative channel.Andrea Jung, Avon’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are delighted to welcome Liz Earle to Avon, and we see this new partnership as a perfect fit for both companies.
